Abstract Submission

The ICKNA 2026 Organizing Committee cordially invites you to submit abstracts for ICKNA 2026 Oral Presentation or Poster. All congress abstracts must be submitted online via the "Online Submission System”. Submitted abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee. Abstract submission does not constitute registration for the symposium and presenters are required to register for the conference separately. Please read the guidelines carefully before submitting your abstract.

    Fill out authors and abstract information and save button.

  • Step 3
    Confirmation Letter
    After your abstract submission, a confirmation letter will be sent to you via e-mail.

    My Page
    To review or modify your submitted abstracts, Visit 'My Page' until the submission deadline.

  • Step 5
    Acceptance Notification
    An acceptance Notification will be sent to you via e-mail.

Submission Guidelines

  • Abstracts should be no more than 600 words. Word count only includes the text body of your abstract.
  • All abstracts should be written in English, including the title, abstract text, names of the authors, affiliations.
  • Authors may edit and modify submitted abstracts until the submission deadline. It is the responsibility of the authors to ensure the accuracy of the abstract. There will be no additional editing after the deadline.
  • A confirmation of the receipt of abstract will be automatically sent to the submitter, presenting author and corresponding author by e-mail upon completion of on-line submission. The contact details you provide must coincide with those of the presenting author and corresponding author, otherwise the presenter will not receive important information about the allocated session(s).
  • The right to publish your abstract is granted to the ICKNA 2026 Organizing Committee.

Structure

  • An acceptable structure of an abstract must consist of the following components:
    [Original Article]
    Background/Aim A statement of the hypothesis or research question.
    Methods An explanation of the study design and experimental methods used.
    Results A concise summary of the major findings of the experiment or study. Sufficient data must be provided to permit evaluation by the reviewers and public reading of the abstract.
    Statements such as “the data will be discussed” are not acceptable.
    Conclusions Summary of the overall findings and the importance of the study.
    [Case Report]
    Background & Significance A statement of the clinical significance of the case.
    Case An explanation of the case presentation and clinical methods used.
    A concise summary of the major findings of the case must be included.
    Conclusion Summary of the overall findings and the importance of the study.
  • Corresponding author's contact details: E-mail address
  • Name(s) of presenting author and co-authors: First name(s) or initials of first name(s), family name (e.g. Sam Lee).
  • Affiliation details of all authors: Department, institution/hospital, city and country. Affiliation(s) should be annotated by superscript numbers.

Notification of Abstract Acceptance

  • All submitted abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee according to standard review procedures.
  • Notification of Abstract Acceptance will be sent by e-mail to corresponding and presenting authors by September 30 (Wed), 2026.

Withdrawal of Abstracts

  • The presenting author must register for the meeting during the pre-registration period. If the presenting author does not complete registration with full payment by September 30 (Wed.), 2026, the abstract will be withdrawn.
  • If you wish to withdraw your abstract, please notify us via email by September 13 (Sun.), 2026 at info@ickna.or.kr, stating the title and abstract number to be withdrawn.
